hung out and watched the booth get setup for awhile this morning. but there wasn't anything for me to do yet. so i decided to leave. the guys setting it up said not to come back till 5pm (it was 10am). so i decided to explore a bit. walked around the outside perimeter of the hotel. then went to check out the mall that's attached to the hotel. it's huge. it's all down on a basement level and just keeps going and going. i started to get worried i was gonna get lost if i ventured down all the hallways. and i really wanted to check out the aquarium i'd walked by. so i did that. and it was awesome. so fun. unfortunately my camera phone didn't do it justice. but they had some really fun displays of fish. normal aquarium and living reef type exhibits. but also everyday appliances full of fish. toilets, refrigerators, washing machines, vending machines, etc. so cute.

(sorry about the pictures. all i have is my camera phone!)
there were also scary big sharks and manta rays and turtles. they were just humongous. a cool moving walkway moved slowly around and underneath a tank that was all around you. scary big fish. a little girl was whimpering and i was right there with her. golly they were big. i coulda spent a long time there but just as i walked in my coworker called to meet up for lunch. she's from taiwan and doesn't speak korean either. she's been here a lot though. and she keeps telling me not to venture past the hotel cause as soon as i leave noone is going to speak english and no signs will be in english and i'll get lost and she'll get in trouble. :-) she's going to take me to our korean distributors office in a little bit. we'll travel by taxi so i'll get to see some sights along the way, i guess.
